All American 400 Preview
The Adam Petty Memorial All-American 400 kicks into high gear at Nashville's historic Music City Motorplex once again this weekend. Two, 200-lap races will take place on Saturday November 1st. One for the ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour cars, then the Super Late Models take to the track for the "big one" at the track which once held NASCAR Cup races back in the day.
"I am so excited about getting back to Nashville!" Said Mitch during preparations for the All American 400. "I ran my first race at the Music City Motorplex last July in the All-American 150 and we ran well."
Mitch qualified 3rd in the All-American 150 and finished the race a strong 5th. That weekend was one of the hottest of the year in Nashville as temperatures reached the century mark, testing Mitch and his GARC Ford Fusion to their limit.
Practice gets underway on Thursday with Friday night scheduled for qualifying. Over 45 of the best Super Late Model drivers in the country are pre-registered for the CRA Super Series event. The ASA event begins at 1 PM on Saturday with Mitch's race with the CRA Super Late Models tentatively scheduled to begin at 3 PM.
